Scam Alert from the Solicitors Regulation Authority website:
Emails have been sent claiming to be from "Colin Wilson" in relation to a property transaction.
The email seen by the SRA was sent from the email address "admin@besunsee.gq" and claimed to be sent from "Colin Wilson, Solicitors Conveyancers". The email referred to an attached “updated version of the proposed Deed, Contract, board package and proprietary lease for both parties involvedâ€. A concern is that the attachment may contain malware.
The email provided the DX address "DX7511 Gloucester" telephone number "+61(02) 9381 4426" and fax number "+61(02) 9381 4468".
The email also provided the postal address of a genuine firm of solicitors (see below).
Any business or transaction through the email address "admin@besunsee.gq", telephone number or fax number listed above are not undertaken by a solicitor’s practice or an individual authorised or regulated by the SRA.
