From the WhoIs:The website "www.pcb-litigation.com" is operating which claims to be the website for a genuine firm of solicitors called PCB Litigation LLP. This website has been cloned from a genuine firm's website. The website also provides the contact email address: "info@pcb-litigation.com".
The SRA is also aware that emails have been sent claiming to be from "Steven Philipsohn, Principal Partner" of PCB Litigation LLP from the email address "philipsohn@pcb-litigation.com". The emails also provide the telephone number: +44 2033 189 665.
The emails seen by the SRA are in connection with a claim for inheritance from a previously unknown individual with the same surname as the recipient of the email. The initial emails claim to be from an "asset manager" in Hong Kong and refer to $8.5m dollars being held in a foreign bank. The sender also provides details for the recipient to contact "Steven Philipsohn" of PCB Litigation LLP and pay his fees in order to prepare documentation in connection with the purported inheritance claim.
