Type of Scam: Cold Calling Scam
From the Solicitors Regulation Authority website:
The SRA has been informed that a member of the public has received an unsolicited telephone call from "Highway Law Firm" in relation to a motor accident.
The caller claimed that "Highway Law Firm" were based at Wilmslow Road, Manchester and gave the telephone number as 0203 1294936.
The SRA does not authorise or regulate a firm called "Highway Law". Any business or transactions through "Highway Law Firm" are not undertaken by a solicitor's practice or an individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
